Outreach

Many children in our community go without food over holiday breaks. We have developed a program to help these children. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas break, underprivileged children are provided with a backpack or bag of food to last themselves and their families until the end of the break.

Every Christmas, a Christmas tree is placed in the back of the church, and it is covered in paper "angels." Each angel represents one child with their age, gender, size, and Christmas wish. Our church then buys presents or clothing for the child, based on what they ask for.

The Teen Class of the Canada Freewill Baptist Church Youth Ministry sends out gift cards every month to college students and care packages every August and April, to commemorate the beginning of the school year and the beginning of finals. We do this in hopes to remind our students that Jesus is always there, even in college.
